Yanfei is one of the two new playable characters of Genshin Impact who will join the current roster of characters with the version 1.5 update. In terms of rarity and weapon, Yanfei is a four-star Pyro user from Liyue, whose weapon of choice is a Catalyst. In this article, we will talk about Yanfei’s banner in details. 

Yanfei Banner Release Date, Other Characters and More

The new four-star character Yanfei is featured in Zhongli’s re-run banner “Gentry of Hermitage”. Yanfei being a featured character will come with the boosted drop rate. Yanfei’s banner(in-actual Zhongli’s re-run banner) will officially release on April 28, 2021, once the maintenance period for the version 1.5 update is over.

The Gentry of Hermitage character event wish banner will feature five-star Geo Polearm user, Zhongli, and three four-star featured characters, Yanfei being one of them.

We do not have official confirmation on the other two featured four-star characters in Zhongli’s re-run banner.

However, we have rumours that suggest Noelle and Diona be the remaining featured characters on the Gentry of Hermitage character event wish banner.

Also here is something that you should know about. Genshin Impact doesn’t offer exclusive character event wish banners for a four-star character. The character banners are usually named after, as well as based on five-star characters. 

However, the Genshin Impact community often refers to characters event wish banners with the name of characters they like or for whom they want to roll. Like Rosaria, a four-star Cryo Polearm user from Mondstadt featured in Childe’s event wish banner. But, instead of Childe, people often called it Rosaria’s banner. 

So, by Yanfei’s banner the Genshin Impact community means Zhongli’s re-run banner.
