Right on schedule, the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update is now live worldwide, bringing support for the latest DLC release and more.

The 9.0.0 update adds support for the new Minecraft DLC pack, which includes new characters Steve and Alex and the Minecraft World stage, a unique stage that comes with 6 different biomes that influence the new characters’ moveset.

The update also introduces support for new Mii Fighters outfits that are available for purchase right now on the eShop.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 9.0.0 update also introduces some balance changes for select fighters like Diddy Kong, Ice Climber, Young Link, Shulk, Sonic, Lucario, Simon and Richter, and a few others. The full list of changes can be found on Nintendo’s Official Website.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available worldwide exclusively on Nintendo Switch. The new update is also live globally, letting you experience the most anticipated cross-over in the history of modern gaming!
