Most Important Mobile Gaming Stories: Weekly Recap #8

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Where did last week go? At this rate, it’s soon going to be Christmas and I won’t even know it! Oh, wait – they’re already playing Christmas songs everywhere, so it really can’t be missed.

But back to today’s article – it’s time for a weekly recap, that time of the day (or week) when we sit back, think about the ephemerality of time and realize that we might’ve missed something important during the previous 7 days. Like the best mobile gaming articles published online!

And in case you haven’t read them all, we’ve got some recommendations for you: both from our site and other great mobile gaming websites that you love. So let’s just check them out below!

Probably the biggest news of last week is that Cristina got addicted to Epic Seven. Fortunately, she’s not alone and her addiction is perfect for everybody else who plays the game, as she had some Epic 7 tips and tricks to share with you and help you get more from the game.

But that’s not all! She wrote a lot about her current favorite mobile game – like a guide to the best characters in the game, or a list of all artifacts you can collect and equip your heroes with.

And if you simply can’t have enough Epic Seven in your life, there’s even better news for you: there are a bunch of other great games like Epic Seven out there – so make sure to check them out and give them a try. The winter break is coming anyway and you’ll have a lot more time on your hands!

And your friends will be available to play more often with you as well. If that’s the case, you should check out 148 Apps’ list of the best iOS multiplayer games to make sure that you’re taking advantage of the best offerings on the App Store.

If you’re already missing the warm summer days (like I do), there’s a great little – yet beautiful – game that can help you take your mind off the cold weather. Alphaputt is its name and Pocket Gamer assembled their App Army to talk about it. Make sure to read the article and find out what the Pros think about this amazing game.

And if you want more mini golf in your life, we’ve got you covered as well! App Spy does, actually, with their list of the best bite-sized golf games for iOS.

Oh, did you know that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite finally came back into the spotlight? After a year-long period of silence, Niantic finally released a teaser trailer for the game. Not a lot of extra details, but still better than nothing.

Even though for fans of the franchise waiting for the next year’s release of the game might seem like an eternity, it’s not really a lifetime away. Although, if you’re playing the latest craze on mobile: life sims, you might spend several tens of lives until it comes out. But it’s all fun and games, so make sure you check out the best life sims out there.

If not, you can always turn to dragons. Everybody loves dragons – no matter if they’re hungry, evil or just cute. All of these categories (and a few extra) are covered in App Spy’s list of the top games with dragons on iOS. Most likely they won’t keep you warm this winter – but it’ll be fun playing them.

Last but not least, if you’re still grinding in Dragalia Lost – or waiting for their next winter holidays related update, we have some great news for you: you’re about to get a lot stronger with your own High Midgardsormr dragon. It’s not going to be easy at all – on the contrary! But Campbell Bird over at 148Apps has some tips for you on how to do it.

And that would be it – lots of helpful articles for fellow mobile gaming enthusiasts published last week. Enjoy them and enjoy your games!
