You can unlock Kiriko for free by reaching the Tier 55 of the Battle Pass during Season One of Overwatch 2. Unlocking new Tiers in Overwatch 2 requires a similar grinding curve that we see with most live-service games like Fortnite. You complete challenges to earn EXP to unlock a new Tier in the battle pass.

If grinding is not your forte and if you don’t have enough time to level up the battle pass to get Kiriko for free, then you should focus on the Weekly Challenges to earn free Overwatch Coins.

Kiriko will be available to unlock from the in-game store or via Challenges once Season One of Overwatch 2 ends. And you can get her that time by completing the associated challenges or using the accumulated Overwatch Coins.

There is also a Legendary Skin for Kiriko that you can get for free by watching Overwatch 2 on Twitch. Here is the official post from Blizzard that tells more about that.
