What is Skirmish Raid?

The latest addition to the game in terms of bigger content is the Skirmish Raid, and that’s a raid where you will have to defeat exclusive bosses before the time runs out. Unlike other raids, here you have 3 teams for each stage of the boss.

This guide will help you better understand how to beat this boss and obtain all the rewards. Hopefully, it will help you achieve the A or S Rank even!

The Bosses

Welcoming Ringmaster Boss

This is the very first boss you will encounter. It is vulnerable to DEF reductions, so one of your teams should be focused on cookies that have DEF reduction skills.

Ringmaster of Shadows Boss

The Ringmaster of Shadows is a boss that’s vulnerable to Light, and all the cookies that hit multiple times, such as Creme Brulee Cookie or Clotted Cream Cookie.

Hollow Ringmaster Boss

This boss inflicts debuffs, so having a team that can dispel is ideal. This is also the last phase of the boss.

At the moment these are the best teams that you can try for Skirmish Raid. Of course, there are variations to these teams, but essentially they all boil down to a few core Cookies the teams are the core of the team.

My tip would be to not skip on upgrading their Beascuits, especially since they grant a lot of stats!

Skirmish Raid Boss Mechanics

There are a few mechanics that you need to grasp. The boss will cast a few attacks, which have different effects during each difficulty. For the Easy difficulty, you will see a blue carpet, showing you where to go, as well as a red carpet showing you its attack range.

For the Normal difficulty, that carpet will disappear, but will still show you the red carpet of the boss’ attack pattern. For the Hard difficulty, however, the boss won’t display any carpets whatsoever, so you will have to rely solely on the skill name.

The easiest way to grasp this is as follows:

  • Shadow Clutches ATK -> Pick 1
  • Pick-A-Card ATK -> Pick 2
  • Hammer Slam ATK -> Pick 3
  • Puppet Show ATK -> Pick 4

Shadow Clutches ATK

  • You need to select the first option
  • The attack pattern is a blue-ish light followed by some cards flying around

Pick-A-Card ATK

  • You need to select the second option
  • There are four cards on the ground, and many cards flying around the arena

Hammer Slam ATK

  • You need to select the third option
  • The boss wields a huge hammer in its right arm, and the animation appears as though pulling you towards it

Puppet Show ATK

  • You need to select the fourth option
  • The boss’ hands maneuver some strings, just like a puppet master
