Cookie Run: Kingdom Servers Guide | What Server Should You Pick?

There’s been quite a debate when it comes to the Cookie Run: Kingdom servers, since the game is massive, and the number of people becoming stronger grows every day. So, if you want to start anew and don’t know where I’ve made this guide to help you decide which server to pick in CRK.

Pure Vanilla Server

The Pure Vanilla Server is the very first server that has been released. This is the server where people started getting extremely competitive, and the power gap between the top players and your average, casual player, is huge. Not to bash on any of those two categories, but this server feels a little bit P2W.

I’ve been playing on this server since the game’s release, because back then there was no other. Hollyberry and Dark Cacao servers have been added later on, so some of the people who didn’t really enjoy the gap on Pure Vanilla Server chose to transfer.

If you want to play on this server, it’s a great one – I mean, any of them is great, because Cookie Run: Kingdom is a wholesome, amazing game. Even for a gacha! So, if you want to spend money and try to aim for the top, Pure Vanilla is a good choice.

Hollybery Server

Hollyberry Server is the one that could be considered somewhere in the middle. It’s similar in a way to Pure Vanilla Server, but it’s not nearly as hardcore when it comes to the player gap. You can choose to spend money or none at all, and still have a great time on Hollyberry Server. It’s entirely up to you.

This server could be considered pretty balanced, all things considered.

Dark Cacao Server

Dark Cacao Server has been said for a long time that it’s the “best”. I cannot say whether or not that’s true, because I have not spent too much time playing on it. I have discussed with players who said that reaching the top is not too difficult, the P2W element is not nearly as massive as in Pure Vanilla, so that could be considered more fun.

I would say that if you want to have a more enjoyable experience without the need to spend money on the game (and still achieve a pretty good ranking), then Dark Cacao is the way to go.

For any new player who has never had any experience with gacha games, then I’d definitely recommend Dark Cacao Server.

So, Which Server Should I PIck?

All things considered, I’d conclude my article by saying that if you want to have a challenge ahead, then Pure Vanilla is the way to go. If you want an easy time, to enjoy the game casually, Dark Cacao. If you want a mix of the two, then go for Hollyberry Server.

Make sure to read the other Cookie Run: Kingdom articles I’ve written, because I’ve tried to share my experience with the game ever since the beginning!

I have been playing games ever since I can remember. Other than games, I am also passionate about design, and working on my very own pixel game in my free time.
