While we won’t get into what’s nerfed or buffed, it does beg the question of which cards are worth keeping. With over 100 cards to choose from, even pros get intimidated.
This article will tell you about the top 5 cards in Clash Royale that are worth keeping up your sleeves. These characters or cards are evergreen and can be useful for most (if not all) encounters.

Best 5 cards in Clash Royale

  1. Valkyrie

The first on this list is Valkyrie. What sets her apart from most ground-based cards is her ability to endure anything and everything on her way. Valkyrie is a rare card and can be unlocked fairly early on in the game. She can act as both an attacker or a defender and requires 4 elixirs.

If paired with a right ariel card, she can wreak havoc after reaching the enemy tower. Additionally, her hitpoints are astounding, which means she can take the mightiest of the enemy head-on. So whether you want a deck that is light on elixir cost or moderate, Valkyrie fits in perfectly.

2. Magical Archer

Next up, we have the chic yet subtle Magical Archer. This wizard cum bowman can slay enemies in a flash. Magical Archer is one of the legendary cards in Clash Royale, which means getting your hands on one can be tricky.

He costs the same as a Valkyrie and can manage ariel cards too. However, Magical Archer has vulnerabilities. With a moderate hitpoint, the archer prefers to work behind the scenes, where he excels.

3. The Executioner

It’s Executioner’s very own season, and this list definitely won’t forget him either. This epic card can be unlocked, once you reach Arena 14, which can be a tough grind. But if you are a veteran of the game, chances are he might already be in your collection.

The Executioner stays true to its name and doesn’t shy away from slaughtering enemy forces. His ax is a dual-sided sword that cuts through enemies on the way back. He can also withstand most blows while also leaving his ax behind as a reminder of his presence. Apart from his slow rate of attack, there’s hardly anything going against him.

4. Mini Pekka

Mini Pekka is chaos stuffed in a small package. Don’t let his size get to you. This small guy can even knock some of the biggest enemies out with a few blows. He lets his sword do the talking for the most part. This Clash Royale card is even competent in bringing an entire tower down if upgraded and coupled with a complimenting card.

Things that truly annoy this guy more than anything are the skeleton army or any ariel card. But that’s it. Mini Pekka is one of the nearest to perfect cards (if there will be one).

5. Electro Wizard

Last but not least, we have Electro Wizard. This Clash Royale character can stun enemies with his electric shocks. He is a legendary card and zaps on enemies while landing.

Electro Wizard is one of the underrated cards. While his hitpoints are somewhat less, but no one can touch Electro Wizard on his turf. From restraining the Balloon to turning Sparky into ashes, this master of electricity can be worth a spot in your Deck.
