Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Major Steve Glitch Makes Characters Fall Through The Stage

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate received a new update earlier this week, which brought some new balance tweaks as well as support for Steve and Alex. As it usually happens, new updates also bring new glitches, but the one that has been discovered today is a major one that needs fixing as soon as possible.

The glitch has been documented by Reddit user -BunsenBurn- with a new video that shows how it’s possible for Steve to make characters fall through a stage by creating two bricks with a gap between them. The glitch has been recreated multiple times with Samus, but it seems like it works with other characters as well.

As competitive play is one of its main features, there is no doubt that Nintendo is going to fix this glitch soon before it gets abused in a serious competitive setting.

The addition of these new glitches isn’t too surprising, considering how complex Steve’s moveset is and how much it changes the entire Super Smash Bros. Ultimate experience. So much that even all the currently available stages had to be tweaked for the character to work properly.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
