It has been some time since Pokémon Sword and Shield received additional content and updates, but it seems like Game Freak is not yet done with the latest main entry in their immensely popular series.
A new update, update 1.3.2, has gone live today worldwide. The new update, sadly, doesn’t introduce anything new in terms of content, focusing on bug fixes. You can find the full update notes below.
- Fixed the issue where some Pokemon icons were not properly displaying during online or local wireless battles.
- Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
This isn’t the first Pokémon Sword and Shield update that is mostly focused on bug fixes. The previous update, update 1.3.1, also brought some welcome fixes, but no new content. With the development team focusing on the upcoming Pokémon games, there’s very little chance that more content will be made available for Pokémon Sword and Shield in the future.
Pokémon Sword and Shield are now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
