The new trailer focuses on Makoto Nijima, one of the most important members of the Phantom Thieves and one of the most interesting characters of the original Persona 5. You can check out the trailer below.

Persona 5 Scramble will not play like the original game at all, but many of the mechanics seen in Persona 5 will be making a comeback in the spin-off, such as Persona Fusion. By combining Personas obtain during battle, players will be able not only to create brand new ones, but also earn points that can be used to enhance them. Skill Cards will also be in, allowing players to teach any Persona specific skills.

Persona 5 Scramble is, currently, the only entry in the series scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch. Atlus is releasing Persona 5 Royal next year on PlayStation 4, but a Nintendo Switch version may not be out of the cards, if Persona 5 Scramble manages to do well on the console.

Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers launches next year worldwide on Nintendo Switch as well as on PlayStation 4.
