New Pokémon Snap brings the gameplay of the original 1999 Pokémon Snap on the Nintendo Switch. In the game, you will have to travel to the islands that make up the Lental region and research Pokémon that have a mysterious glow to them.

Like in the original, you will have to photograph wild Pokémon in their natural habitats, and all your photos will be scored depending on a varety of factors. These scores can be shared online, so there’s some sort of competitive element to the game, although quite small, compared to that of the main entries in the series.

New Pokémon Snap released on April 30 on Nintendo Switch.
