In a new end-of-year message, Monster Hunter Rise producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Yasunori Ichinose revealed that they are planning to revealed brand-new information on the game this month. As the playable demo is supposed to release this month as well, it is likely this information blowout will come alongside the demo’s release date announcement.

The Monster Hunter Rise timed playable demo will see players wade through the marshy Flooded Forest and fight monsters such as Somnacanth and Bishaten. This demo will be a great way to see how the series has evolved since Monster Hunter World, which never hit the Nintendo Switch.

Monster Hunter Rise launches on March 26 worldwide on Nintendo Switch.
