A new Monster Hunter Rise trailer has been shown during this year’s edition of The Game Awards, showcasing new monsters and a new area. You can find the trailer embedded in the tweet below.

As revealed by the tweet above, Capcom also confirmed that Monster Hunters will not have to wait until March to get a taste of the game, as a playable demo that will be available for a limited time is going to be released in January. The demo will be set in the Flooder Forest and it will include new monsters.

The announcement of the new Monster Hunter Rise demo is not exactly surprising. Last month, a huge Capcom leak revealed that Monster Hunter Rise demos would be coming in January and March, so we should expect another demo to be made available close to the game’s release.

Monster Hunter Rise launches on Nintendo Switch on March 26.
