Call of Duty: Mobile‘s Season 8 kicked off recently with a brand new 2nd Anniversary theme, introducing a new Lightning scorestreak to the game.
While a ton of new rewards are available in the latest battle pass, two of them can actually give you the upper hand over the enemies. For unfamiliar ones, it’s the new M13 rifle and Lightning scorestreak that have been teased earlier by Activision.
While we have already made a guide to unlocking the M13, this time around, we’d like to reveal how players can unlock the Lightning scorestreak in the game.

How to get (unlock) Lightning scorestreak in Call of Duty: Mobile
Update: Lightning Scorestreak is currently unavailable in the game.
Lightning Scorestreak is available in the free version of COD Mobile latest battle pass, and players can unlock it by reaching Tier 14 in the season 8 battle pass. Since it requires an enormous amount of Battle Pass XP, it is a pretty lengthy process and would require hours of grinding to accomplish.
However, players can speed up this process by participating in Seasonal challenges and events. After reaching Tier 14, head over to the Battle Pass section and claim your reward.
Through Lightning scorestreak, players can launch a coordinated Lightning Strike on three locations. Players must accumulate 1050 scorestreak points in order to activate it.
Important Note: Lightning can only be unlocked in the current season, and we have no idea when this reward will rejoin the game.
