How to Make the Armored Tank Fly Temporarily in Fornite

One of the Week 6 challenges in Fornite Chapter 3 Season 2 is asking players to get air time in a tank. Since tanks are quite heavy machines that rarely leave the ground, we will help you complete this bizarre yet fun Fortnite quest.

IO has gone all out and brought several of their powerful weapons and pieces of equipment to the battlefield, including full kitted armored tanks. These tanks are excellent for destroying any and all structures, and deal decent damage to enemies too.

There are many different locations you can visit to get a Tank in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 but for the get air time in a tank quest, we recommend you to go straight to the tank located in front of Command Cavern. Simply drop down to the location from the Battle Pass and jump into the tank upon landing.

Then, just drive the tank to the mountain peak to the right of the main Command Cavern entrance. The peak has a few antenna towers and a big underground hole, which contains a small platform. Drive the tank inside the underground whirlpool-like structure which will lift the tank up in the air, completing the quest.

This is by far the easiest way to get air time in a tank. Alternatively, you can drive a tank onto the webbings and you should be launched up in the air.
