Unlocking new Camos for your favorite weapons is one of the staple features of Call of Duty games, and Modern Warfare 2 is no exception to that. The game offers four Weapon Mastery Camos, Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic, and Orion that players can unlock and use to show off their mastery with the weapon. In this MW2 guide, we will mainly talk about how to get Platinum Camo.
How To Get Platinum Camo In MW2
To get the Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you must complete eight Weapon Mastery challenges while equipping the Gold Camo. That is, you must complete eight Gold Camo challenges to get your hands on the Platinum Camo for that particular weapon.
The challenges can range from getting a set number of kills to more advanced versions like getting kills from behind, getting double kills, and so on. In any case, you can open the Weapon’s menu from the top tab. And then, select the Multiplayer Loadout option.
After that, click on Gunsmith and select the Customize option from the top tab. You can click on the Camo option to check the challenges and track your progress there.
That aside! Once you unlock the Platinum Camo, you can get 200 kills with it to complete the Platinum Camo Mastery Challenge to unlock the Platinum Emblem and Platinum Calling Card.
