Modern Warfare 2: How To Unlock Camo Guide

Camos is one of the staple features of Call of Duty games that makes weapon progression and achieving exceptional feats more rewarding. And thankfully, the latest entry, Modern Warfare 2, continues that trend while introducing a few nuances. This guide will share details on how to unlock every Camo in Modern Warfare 2. 

How to Unlock Camo in Modern Warfare 2

In Modern Warfare 2, almost every common Camo gets unlocked by leveling different weapons. But when it comes to unlocking special ones like the Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic, and Orion Camos, you must grind some challenges specific to the weapon. 

To check the unlock criteria for a specific Camo. Or, to check all available Camos for a weapon and how to unlock them, navigate to the Weapon’s menu from the top tab. And then, select the Multiplayer Loadout option. After that, click on Gunsmith and select the Customize option from the top tab. 

There you will find the Camos option. Click on it, and you will get every available Camo and details on how to unlock them. You can click on the Weapon Mastery button to check your progress or goal toward unlocking Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic, and Orion Camos Weapon Mastery rewards, which are nothing but Emblem and Calling Cards with the respective color theme. 

How To Unlock Gold Camo in Modern Warfare 2

In the Weapon Mastery section, complete four challenges to unlock their respective Camos and the Gold Camo for any weapon in Modern Warfare 2. 

How To Unlock Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2

To unlock the Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you must complete eight Gold Camo challenges. 

How To Unlock Polyatomic Camo in Modern Warfare 2

To unlock the Polyatomic Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you must complete fifty-one Platinum Camo challenges. 

How To Unlock Orion Camo in Modern Warfare 2

To unlock the Orion Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you must complete fifty-one Polyatomic Camo challenges.
