Terraria is a game with elements of RPG, and there are lots of different items and artifacts you can find. How to Obtain a PDA in Terraria
Getting a PDA in Terraria is not very difficult but you won’t be able to do it at the begging of your playthrough. The only way you can obtain it is by crafting. This will demand some items from you and these are not so easy to get.
The first thing you will need to craft the PDA is GPS. This is another item that you need to craft. Bring Platinum/Golden Watch, Depth Meter, and Compass on the Tinkerer’s Workshop and use them for crafting.

The second item is Fish Finder and you will need to craft it as well. You should get Weather Radio, Sextant, and Fisherman’s Pocket Guide, and use them on the Tinkerer’s Workshop for crafting. You can obtain all of these items from Angler’s fishing quests.
The third item is Goblin Tech. This can be crafted on the Tinkerer’s Workshop with DPS Meter, Stopwatch, and Metal Detector. The first two can be bought from the Travelling Merchant, and the third one is a drop item from Nymphs. The last ones are rare enemies that you can meet in caverns.
The last item you need to craft the PDA is R.E.K. 3000. It is not a big surprise that you will need to craft it too. The items you will need to bring to the Tinkerer’s Workshop are Radar, Tally Counter, and Lifeform Analyzer. The first one can be found in Chests, Pearlwood/Wooden Crates. The second one drops from mobs in the Dungeon. The last one can be bought from the Travelling Merchant.
Getting all of these items is not that simple. But be patient and you will be able to craft the PDA in Terraria.
