Explore the Bottom of the Well is a part of Genshin Impact’s A Strange Story in Konda world quest. Once players get hold of the old key that unlocks the water well located behind the Konda village chief’s house, players are asked to explore the bottom of the well to progress the quest.
However, the bottom part is inaccessible because of an electro barrier and even if you get past it, you get a Sacred Sakura Cleansing puzzle, which is hard to solve, if you don’t know what you have to do.

How to Explore the Bottom of the Well
Open the well using the old key and dropdown.
You can use an Electrogranum to get past the electro barrier.
Past the barrier is the bottom of the well where you will find a cleaning puzzle. You have to cleanse the place to progress the quest.
Use the Ward to cleanse Konda village well.
Solve the puzzle to cleanse
Based on the number as shown in the below screenshot, interact will the electro pillars that look like lanterns.
- 1 means you have interact with it one time.
- 2 interact two times and so on.
At the end interact with the first pillar to complete cleansing.
Once you solve the puzzle, you have to fight and defeat a Phantom Warrior called Ochimusha. Only then you will be able to cleanse the Konda village well.
After you have defeated Ochimusha, Kazari, the NPC who gave you the quest will come and talk about the cleansing rituals and how there are many more places that requires cleansing.
The world quest A Strange Story in Konda ends. However, you get another quest from Kazari called Sacrificial Offering.
