Hollywood Story Guide to Babies: How to Adopt a Baby

In today’s article we will present our Hollywood Story guide to babies: how to adopt and how to care for the newborn, as well as what NOT to do as a new parent, while keep raising your fame!

If you’ve played the game for as long as you could, and you still haven’t managed to form a family yet, the game’s latest update will let you do just that! Once you’ve climbed the fame ladder and managed to achieve pretty much anything you could ever want, there comes a baby!

In order to adopt a baby, you must first unlock Paris. This is an area that is a little bit of a “high level”, so if you’re just getting started, I suggest saving up on Diamonds and Money, because you will need it!

After unlocking the Paris area, you will need to complete a few quests and be at least level 20 (the level you see on the top left in a star) in order to buy an apartment there. This is called the Paris Castle, and it costs 1.75 million (cash).

After purchasing the apartment, you will be paid a visit by a social worker who will offer you to adopt a baby. You can customize the baby just like you customize your own character, so you can make her/him have your looks. Like mother, like daughter, right? (assuming that you went for a baby girl)

To adopt a baby, it will cost you 125 Diamonds (100 to get the baby and 25 to choose their gender). But this is not all! You will need to log in daily and take care of the baby, because if you don’t do so, the social worker will take the baby back from you and you will have wasted a lot of Diamonds.

Once you’re all set, you will have to wait for 24 hours for the baby to arrive to your house. If you don’t want to wait that long, you can throw in a couple of more Diamonds – 143 to be precise – and skip the timer all together!

So I strongly suggest that if you do decide to take on this responsibility and adopt a baby, take care of her to your best extent, because else there is no point in doing so (other than waste Diamonds).

Once you buy (or rather, adopt) a baby, you can then purchase outfits for her and customize her as best as you can! Because after all, the baby is yours! Unfortunately, there is no rename option after you’ve already named the baby, but given how cute she is, we don’t really care about renaming since we can customize her as we please!
