Fire Emblem Three Houses Cindered Shadows DLC Gets New Details

Fire Emblem Three Houses is getting a major expansion soon. Called Cindered Shadows, the expansion will introduce a side-story to the game featuring the Ashen Wolves house. It has now been confirmed that representatives from the other major houses of the game will also be playable in the expansion.

The Fire Emblem series Official Twitter profile confirmed that Hilda, Ashe, and Linhardt will be playable in the expansion alongside Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude and the new characters of the Ashen Wolves house.

While players will not be able to use all characters they have recruited in the main campaign, they will still have a decent selection, as all the available characters specialize in different fields.

Fire Emblem Three Houses’ new expansion isn’t the only piece of new content based on the game. Last week, it has been confirmed that main character Byleth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the final DLC character of the first Fighter Pass. Coming with both male and female versions, the character will be able to use different Hero Relic Weapons, including the Sword of the Creator, creating a unique playstyle which changes weapon depending on the direction of the attack.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch. The Cindered Shadows DLC will be released on February 13th as part of the Expansion Pass.
