This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

Dragon Ball FighterZ received excellent post-launch support, with developer Arc System Works providing tons of new characters and content. More characters are coming in the future, and in a few days, we will finally learn who will be the next one to be released.

Speaking during the Spanish Dragon Ball FighterZ National Championship, producer Tomoko Hiroki confirmed that more information on the FighterZ Pass 3 next character will be shared on December 20 during the Japanese playoffs. The character will be released around January.

As for who the next character will be, no one can say for certain as of now. The previous DLC character, Master Roshi, is markedly different from most DLC characters released so far, so let’s hope the team will get as creative as they did when they finally brought Son Goku’s master to the game.

All of this year’s Dragon Ball FighterZ characters are part of the FighterZ Pass 3. The ones released so far are Kefla, Ultra Instinct Goku and the aforementioned Master Roshi.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide. The game is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
