The developers have planned to add frogs in Minecraft 1.19, alongside Fireflies and Mangrove Swamps. Other than that, you can discover frogs by diving into a pond to check if you can see any tadpoles swimming around. Taking inspiration from the real world, tadpoles will evolve into Frogs in Minecraft.

Furthermore, tadpoles will grow into distinct variants depending on their habitat. For example, you will find snowy Frogs in cold biomes, and Tropical Frogs in warm biomes. Default Frogs can be spotted around swamps. The upcoming Minecraft 1.19 update is being called The Wild Update, and it is the next significant content update scheduled for the game. The Wild Update is slated to release in 2022, but we still haven’t gotten any exact dates yet. The new update is also set to come with the Warden and the Deep Dark biome, both of which were delayed out of Minecraft 1.18, and the Allay.
