The Super Mario 35th Anniversary celebrations are winding down, but this doesn’t mean that they are over. Following the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the celebrations have started jumping onto other games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
A new update that is now live worldwide brings not only new seasonal content but also new Super Mario themed furniture and items, such as the Warp Pipe item that lets you move from one area of your island to another, new wearables inspired by the series and other stuff like Question Blocks and coins. With this new update, your island will become a part of the Mushroom Kingdom!
Unfortunately, full update notes are still not available, so we do not know if there has been any other change or gameplay improvement. We will have to wait for Nintendo to post them online to know more.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
