In all the regions, there are Fishing Associations. You can visit them to exchange your fishing rods. This is great because there are appropriate fishing rods for each fishing area; using them will increase your chance of catching the fish. Here is how you can obtain the rods:
- Moonstringer – you will need to attend a Fishing Event as it can be obtained there only.
- Windtangler – exchange for it at the Mondstadt Fishing Association.
- Wilderness Rod – take part in the Exploding Population Quest.
- Wishmaker – go to the Liyue Fishing Association and exchange for it there.
- Narukawa Ukai – go to the Inazuma Fishing Association and exchange for it.
