Genshin Impact has announced its collaboration with Horizon Zero Dawn starting from the version 2.1 update. The main highlight of this new collaboration is that miHoYo is finally giving away a free five-star playable character – and that is none other than the main heroine from PlayStation’s Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy.
Aloy is a five-star Cryo user whose weapon of choice is a bow. Her elemental skill, burst attack, or any other such information is still not officially announced. Apart from that, players will also get a free bow that provides alloy with special buffs.

PlayStation users will get Aloy and her bow for free post version 2.1 update – via the in-game mail. However, players who are on different platforms have to wait till version 2.2 to get Aloy and her bow.
Players can also claim Aloy on PlayStation and then use her on any other platform like PC or Mobile, all thanks to the new cross-save feature.
A few months ago, data-mined information was leaked for a character named Aloy. Right around the time when we got Horizon Forbidden West gameplay reveal. We did cover the topic and said that it was possible as we have already seen many such collaborations – one of the recent examples is Aloy’s appearance in Fortnite.
