New Pokémon Snap is Nintendo’s big first-party release for the month of April and, as the game’s April 30 release date approaches, the publisher is showing more and more of its upcoming title.
Today, a brand new trailer has been shared online, showing off many of the wild Pokémon of the Lental Region and more. Check out the new trailer right below.
New Pokémon Snap will be quite different from the mainline Pokémon games released so far, being a continuation of the original Pokémon Snap released back in 1999. In the new game, players will explore the islands that make up the Lental Region and research the wild Pokémon in the area, which exhibit some unusual traits, like a mysterious glow.
Researching Pokémon in New Pokémon Snap means taking pictures of them in their natural habitat, with each picture getting a different score depending on a lot of different factors. Scores can also be shared online.
New Pokémon Snap launches on Nintendo Switch on April 30 worldwide.
