Nintendo Switch Sports has been available to play since April 2022, and has similar game features as its predecessor Wii Sports. New Games To Be Added To Nintendo Switch Sports
Nintendo Switch Sports currently has 6 playable sports in the main game:
- Volleyball
- Badminton
- Tennis
- Soccer
- Bowling
- Chambara (Swordfighting)
There has been a confirmation that Golf will be the next sport added, apparently in a free DLC coming in the Fall. Golf was one of the most popular sports in Wii Sports so it is unsurprising that it will be the next to arrive.

A recent datamining leak has shown that two more sports may be due for release as well: Dodgeball and Basketball. According to WipeoutJack7 on Twitter, who posted a screengrab of the file, both Basketball and Dodgeball will be added soon. It may be that these two will come with the Golf DLC, or they may be added separately.
As Jack says, it may be scrapped content but players remain hopeful. Dodgeball will be a lot of fun to play with friends and family, and there is no doubt Basketball will be really popular as an online multiplayer too!

It is clear that Nintendo want to keep people talking about Nintendo Switch Sports, and by releasing new sports as DLCs, players will keep going back to the active sports sim. We will have to wait until Fall 2022 for Golf to finally arrive as a free DLC, but we are sure it will be worth the wait!
