Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite event is finally underway. And players have a plethora of new things to do, including Xiao’s story quest – The Alatus Chapter, The Origin of the Lanterns quest, and much more. With the new event, we have new event-specific NPCs like Jingming, Ji Tong, Ruijin, etc.
In Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite event players need an event exclusive item called Xiao Lanterns to complete “Lantern Rite Tales” requests and “Theater Mechanicus” challenges. So, how can players craft the Xiao Lanterns?. The NPC Jingming will provide players with the method of crafting Xiao Lanterns, once they have completed the quest “The Origin of the Lanterns“.

In the wake of the Lantern Rite event of Genshin Impact, Jingming’s location is something that everyone should know as without that players cannot progress through the event.

Jingming’s Location in Genshin Impact
Jingming is located in Liyue Harbor. To get to Jingming, players can teleport to the Sea of Clouds teleport waypoint in Liyue Harbor. And, then Jump down towards the main gate(near Ji Tong’s location).

Jingming will not appear at Liyue Harbor if players do not complete the Origin of Lanterns quest. And, to do that players need to complete Xiao’s story quest. So, make sure to complete the pre-requisites before you start looking for Jingming in Liyue Harbor.
