Over the past couple of months, Pokémon has been a hugely successful franchise on many platforms as its mainline games have given many players their first-ever role-playing game experience.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is arguably the most anticipated title that’s coming to Nintendo Switch this month. It’s set to be an entirely new take on the long-running monster taming franchise that sends you back to the past.
According to recent leaks, the upcoming game will be taking a route compared to the typical Pokémon gameplay in other games. Players of the classic role-playing game will seemingly be treated to a vastly unusual experience on the Nintendo Switch.
When will Pokémon Legends: Arceus be released?
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform on January 28, 2022. The Pokémon Company as well as Nintendo have been sharing various footage of the game.
The newest clip released is an introductory trailer in Japanese. However, it still offers players a good look at how the game can be played.
It showcases up to six minutes of Pokémon, landscapes, people, and customization options. There are also tons of footage of the game’s mode of transportation and battle mechanics.
The trailer looks pretty cool, but players should keep their eyes out for an English trailer that may or may not come, considering the game’s release date is near.
