With a game so full of secrets of Metroid Dread, one can only wonder if it has a secret ending. Let’s find out if there is indeed one.

What is the Metroid Dread Secret Ending?

Metroid Dread

Sadly, Metroid Dread does not feature any secret ending, so no matter what you do, you will always get the regular ending where Samus defeats Raven Beak and escapes from Planet ZDR after having awakened her Metroid DNA.

You can get different ending rewards if you have met certain conditions on your playthrough, but they do not expand on the regular ending at all, so we will have to wait for the next entry in the series to learn how much Samus’ awakening to her Metroid DNA will impact her life and the whole universe.

While not a proper secret ending, you can watch an additional, short cutscene if you wait for the credits to end. At the end of this simple scene, you will also learn how long it took for you to beat the game.
