The Wonderful 101: Remastered promises to be an improvement over the original release with tweaked controls and more, and finally we can check out for ourselves how Platinum Games improved their action title.

New direct-feed gameplay has been shared a few hours ago by GameSpot, showing 15 minutes of the second stage of the game. The game doesn’t look all that different from the original Wii U release so far, but things are definitely changing in the next two months.

Yesterday, game director Hideki Kamiya revealed some additional details on The Wonderful 101: Remastered, confirming not only that the game will feature tweaked controls, but also other tweaks that will make the game easier to understand and more enjoyable. The Wonderful 101: Remastered is among the most unique games created by Platinum Games, so those who never experienced the Wii U version may feel confused as to how the game is played.

The Wonderful 101

Thanks to the successful Kickstarter Campaign, The Wonderful 101: Remastered is going to feature additional content. The new content will be separate from the main campaign, so players looking for an authentic experience, will be able to have one by simply playing through the lengthy main mode.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered launches on Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation 4 in May.
