The Monster Hunter Rise playable demo is now available for download from the Nintendo Switch eShop worldwide. The demo features four different quests, local and online co-op multiplayer, the new Wirebug and Wyvern Riding mechanics, and all 14 weapon types.

Of the four quests included in the game, two allow players to fight the Great Izuchi and Mizutsune monsters. Unfortunately, you will not be able to fight them more than 30 times, as embarking on any of the two quests over 30 times will lock the demo for good. Online play will be available until February 1.

New information on Monster Hunter Rise has also come in during yesterday’s digital event, which confirmed that it will be possible to ride monsters and more. You can find the full event below.

Monster Hunter Rise releases on March 26 on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
