Terraria’s achievements will have you running all over the place, so to make things a little easier, we’ve categorized all of them. Here’s the complete list:
- Exploration & Progression — Achievements related to progressing through the game and exploring the world.
- Battle — Achievements focusing on taking down bosses and enemies.
- Crafting & Item — Achievements related to crafting and using certain items.
- NPC — Achievements focusing on NPC and Town progression.
- Event — Achievements about clearing the many events that happen in the Terraria world.

Exploration & Progression Achievements
A Rather Blustery Day — Fly a Kite on a windy day. Kites can be bought from the Zoologist, Party Girl, or found as rare drops from certain enemies.
Begone, Evil! — Destroy a Demon/Crimson Altar using a Pwnhammer.
Big Booty — Unlock a Biome Chest found inside the Dungeon after Plantera is defeated.
Bulldozer — Mine a total of 10,000 blocks.
Dead Men Tell No Tales — Open a Dead Man’s Chest and die to the traps. This achievement does not unlock in multiplayer.
Dungeon Heist — Unlock a Gold Chest found within the Dungeon.
Extra Shiny! — Mine a Hardmode ore.
Funkytown — Create your own surface Glowing Mushroom biome.
Heart Breaker — Smash an Underground Life Crystal.
Hey! Listen! — Find a Fairy on the Surface or Underground.
Hot Reels! — Fish in a pool of lava.
I Am Loot! — Open an Underground Gold Chest.
Into Orbit — Go all the way up to Space.
It’s Getting Hot in Here — Reach The Underworld.
Jeepers Creepers — Find an Underground Spider Cave.
Lucky Break — Survive a fall with barely any health remaining. A player with max health (500 health) and no defense must fall exactly 74 blocks to trigger this achievement.
Marathon Medalist — Travel 26.2 miles on foot.
Ooo! Shiny! — Mine any ore.
Photosynthesis — Mine Chlorophyte Ore.
Quiet Neighborhood — Enter a Graveyard. You can create a Graveyard biome by placing down lots of Gravestones close together.
Robbing the Grave — Get a rare item drop from the Dungeon after you’ve defeated Plantera.
Rock Bottom — Reach the very bottom of The Underworld.
Smashing, Poppet! — Destroy a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart.
Temple Raider — Unlock the Jungle Temple’s Lihzahrd Door or mine the Lihzahrd Bricks.
Timber!! — Chop down a tree.
Topped Off — Reach 500 health and 200 mana.
Watch Your Step! — Die to a trap.
Where’s My Honey? — Find a Bee Hive in the Underground Jungle.
You Can Do It! — Survive your first night.

Battle Achievements
Archaeologist — Kill a Doctor Bones for the first time, found in the Jungle and Underground Jungle at night.
Boned — Defeat Skeletron.
Bucket of Bolts — Defeat The Twins, The Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime in Hardmode.
Champion of Terraria — Defeat Moon Lord.
Deceiver of Fools — Defeat a Nymph, found Underground. Be sure not to accidentally kill the Lost Girl too fast, as you will not receive the achievement if the Lost Girl doesn’t get to turn into the Nymph.
Don’t Dread on Me — Fish in the Ocean during a Blood Moon and defeat the Dreadnautilus.
Eye on You — Defeat Eye of Cthulhu.
Fae Flayer — Defeat the Empress of Light.
Fish Out of Water — Fish in the Ocean using a Truffle Worm and defeat Duke Fishron.
Gelatin World Tour — Defeat every kind of slime possible (baby, black, blue, corrupt, dungeon, green, ice, illuminant, jungle, king, lava, mother, purple, rainbow, red, slimeling, slimer, spiked ice, spiked jungle, umbrella, yellow, toxic sludge, crimslime, pinky).
It’s Hard! — Defeat Wall of Flesh and enter Hardmode.
Heliophobia — Make a Gnome follow you to the Surface, and it will turn into a Garden Gnome. Regular Gnomes can be often found at Living Trees.
Just Desserts — Defeat Queen Slime.
Lihzahrdian Idol — Defeat the Golem lurking within the Jungle Temple.
Mastermind — Defeat Brain of Cthulhu.
Mecha Mayhem — Defeat The Twins, The Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime all at the same time.
Obsessive Devotion — Defeat the Lunatic Cultist found at the entrance of the Dungeon.
Pretty in Pink — Kill Pinky, the rare pink Slime.
Slayer of Worlds — Defeat the main story bosses, which includes Brain of Cthulhu/Eater of Worlds, The Destroyer, Duke Fishron, Eye of Cthulhu, Golem, King Slime, Lunatic Cultist, Moon Lord, Plantera, Queen Bee, Skeletron, Skeletron Prime, The Twins, and Wall of Flesh. Empress of Light, Queen Slime, and all the event bosses are not required.
Slippery Shinobi — Defeat King Slime.
Star Destroyer — Defeat all four Celestial Pillars during the Lunar events.
Still Hungry — Defeat Wall of Flesh.
Sting Operation — Defeat Queen Bee.
The Great Southern Plantkill — Defeat Plantera.
There are Some Who Call Him… — Defeat Tim, a rare skeleton found in the lower Cavern layer.
Til Death… — Defeat The Groom, a rare Zombie that appears during the Blood Moon.
Vehicular Manslaughter — Kill an enemy by ramming it while on a Minecart.
Worm Fodder — Defeat Eater of Worlds.

Crafting & Item Achievements
Benched — Craft a Work Bench.
Boots of the Hero — Craft the Terraspark Boots.
Completely Awesome — Obtain the Minishark.
Drax Attax — Craft either a Drax or Pickaxe Axe.
Dye Hard — Equip dyes in all three armor slots, all five accessory slots, and all five equipment slots.
Fashion Statement — Equip armor or vanity clothing in all three social slots.
Get a Life — Use a Life Fruit.
Head in the Clouds — Equip Wings.
Heavy Metal — Craft an Iron or Lead Anvil.
Hold on Tight! — Equip a Grappling Hook.
Infinity +1 Sword — Craft the Zenith.
Like a Boss — Craft any boss summoning item. Truffle Worms, Celestial Sigils, Gelatin Crystals, and Prismatic Lacewings do not count.
Matching Attire — Equip armor in all three slots. The armor pieces do not have to be from the same set.
Miner for Fire — Craft a Molten Pickaxe.
Not the Bees! — Fire a Bee Gun while equipped with the Bee armor set.
Prismancer — Craft a Rainbow Rod.
Rainbows and Unicorns — Fire a Rainbow Gun while riding the Unicorn mount.
Sick Throw — Obtain the Terrarian from Moon Lord.
Star Power — Use a Mana Crystal.
Stop! Hammer Time! — Craft a Hammer.
Sword of the Hero — Craft the Terra Blade.
The Cavalry — Equip a mount.
Throwing Lines — Attack with a Yoyo.
You and What Army? — Summon nine minions all at the same time.

NPC Achievements
Fast and Fishious — Complete 50 Angler quests.
Feeling Petty — Pet a Town Pet.
Glorious Golden Pole — Get the Golden Fishing Rod from the Angler, given to you after completing 30 quests.
Good Little Slave — Complete 10 Angler quests.
It Can Talk?! — Have the Truffle NPC move into a house in a Glowing Mushroom Biome.
Jolly Jamboree — Have the Party Girl throw a party. Starting a party using the Party Center does not count.
Leading Landlord — Talk to an NPC when their happiness is maxed out. Make NPCs happy by placing them in their favorite biomes and next to their favorite NPCs.
No Hobo — Get an NPC to move into a house.
Real Estate Agent — Have all the NPCs move into your town.
Servant-in-Training — Complete an Angler quest.
Supreme Helper Minion! — Complete 200 Angler quests.
The Frequent Flyer — Spend over a gold total at the Nurse.
Trout Monkey — Complete 25 Angler quests.
Event Achievements
Baleful Harvest — Reach wave 15 during the Pumpkin Moon event.
Bloodbath — Clear the Blood Moon event.
Do You Want to Slay a Snowman? — Clear the Frost Legion event.
Goblin Punter — Clear the Goblin Army event.
Hero of Etheria — Clear the Old One’s Army event.
Ice Scream — Reach wave 15 of the Frost Moon event.
Kill the Sun — Clear the Solar Eclipse event.
Sticky Situation — Clear the Slime Rain event.
