The SNK Vs. Capcom series still holds a very dear place in the heart of many fighting game fans, making worlds collide in the most explosive of ways. The series has been dormant for a good while, but it has now been confirmed that it will make its comeback on Nintendo Switch this month.
SNK confirmed that SNK Vs. Capcom: Match Of The Millennium will be released on Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 17. The game, unfortunately, is not the original arcade entry in the series nor its more popular sequel, but the game released on Neo Geo Pocket Color back in 1999.
Even though SNK Vs. Capcom: Match Of The Millennium is a handheld game, it comes with all the features expected out of a proper fighting game such as three battle formats – Single, Tag and Team – a VS Mode and the new SC Olympic Mode. All characters that appeared in the original release will also be included.
SNK Vs. Capcom: Match Of The Millennium launches on Nintendo Switch on February 17.
