Pokemon Go: How to Battle a Slick Challenger

The launch of Poodle Pokemon Furfrou and its multiple Trim forms, as well as a slew of new research tasks and rewards, are all part of the Pokemon Go Fashion Week celebrations. Fashion Challengers, a feature similar to Go Tour Challengers from Kanto Tour, have been added to Pokemon Go Fashion Week.

Defeating a Fashion Challenger

Team Go Rocket and Battling a Fashion Challenger are both on the same page. There will be a Fashion Challenger pop-up on the screen after spinning or getting close to it. Choose the battle option if you’re ready. The first Pokemon will be a Furfrou variant.

If you start with strong Pokemon, the Fashion Challenger will be unable to use the shield in battle. After defeating the Fashion Challenger, players will receive standard rewards such as revives and stardust.

Here’s the lineup of “Slick Challenger” –

No doubt, this is a team with a critical Fighting weakness. The Pokemon that could provide the most difficulty for this battle is Croagunk, as its Poison typing gives it a resistance to Fighting-type attacks.

TIP – Gallade, a Psychic and Fighting-type Pokemon, is the best Pokemon to use in this battle. Croagunk is particularly vulnerable to Psychic attacks, while Furfrou and Obstagoon are especially vulnerable to Fighting attacks.
