Get ready to witness Pokémon Go Classic Community Day featuring our very own Bulbasaur this time around. Pokémon Go has been hosting limited-time Community Days for some time now, and usually, these feature one Pokemon and give trainers unique goals to perform. 

Here’s all you need to know about this one-day-long Pokémon Go Classic Community Day.

Pokémon Go Classic January Community Day Start Date, event details, and more

Pokémon Go Classic January Community Day event will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, and the mini-event will take players to the origins of Pokemon Go by once again featuring the famous Grass-type Pokémon Bulbasaur. Usually, monthly Community Days are two days long, and now players will only have to be at their best game during the one-off event.

Bulbasaur January Community Day Classic exclusive Venusaur move

You can get a Venusaur that knows the exclusive move Frenzy Plant by evolving Bulbasaur into its final evolution during the event (or up to two hours after).

Frenzy Plant is one of Venusaur’s best Charged Moves in both the Go Battle League and Raids. So, if you haven’t evolved your Bulbasaur yet, now is the time.

All Pokemon Go Bulbasaur Community Day Classic bonuses

You will enjoy the following Pokemon Go bonuses during the entirety of the event:

  • 3x Catch XP for any Pokemon, not just Bulbasaur.
  • Incense activated during the event will stay for three hours.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will stay for three hours.
  • Take Snapshots for a surprise.
  • 30 Ultra Balls will be available for free in the Shop.
