Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered Announced For Nintendo Switch

The Need for Speed series is among the few classic series that has yet to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch, but this is changing very soon with the release of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.

After weeks of rumors and speculation, Electronic Arts finally confirmed that the classic entry in the racing game series is hitting Nintendo Switch on November 13th worldwide. The game is also releasing on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 a week earlier, on November 6th.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is being developed by Stellar Entertainment, and it will feature cross-platform multiplayer, cross-platform sync and all the DLC content that has been released for the original.

EA also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version will run at 1080p resolution, 30 FPS in docked mode and 720p, 30 FPS in handheld mode. It will also include higher-resolution models, more objects and props, longer draw distance, higher resolution shadows, and improved videos.
