Mortal Kombat 11 is finally releasing next week on Nintendo Switch, PC and consoles, but NetherRealm Studios didn’t show much of the Nintendo Switch release, making many fear that this version of the game would be inferior to the others.
Footage has finally been released, and it seems like Mortal Kombat 11 will be as good on Nintendo Switch as it is on the other platforms.
The first Mortal Kombat 11 Nintendo Switch footage shows mostly cutscenes, but the actual fights that can be seen in it look very good, with stable performance. The game also looks quite good in handheld mode.
On a related note, a new trailer has also been released recently, showcasing another classic Mortal Kombat character, the fearsome Shao Kahn. The character is currently being offered as a pre-order bonus.
Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23rd in North America on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will release sometime in May in Europe.
