Luigi’s Mansion 3 is among the most anticipated Nintendo Switch games releasing later this year on Nintendo Switch, but its release date for all regions has yet to be announced. According to Nintendo, there’s a very good reason for this.

Speaking with Polygon, Nintendo’s Bill Trinen confirmed that Nintendo is waiting for developer Next Level Games to complete developing the game, and, as they are letting the studio put the care into it they want, the release date announcement will come only when the game is truly ready.
