Today, a brand new trailer has been released by Nintendo of Japan, showcasing the brand new location as well as all the skills that Luigi possesses and that he will have to put to good use to free Mario and his friends from the clutches of King Boo.

The trailer, which is only available in Japanese as of now, can be found right below.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay is not too different from the ones seen in the previous two entries in the series, but it has been updated in several ways so that puzzles will be more creative and enemies tougher to defeat, as seen in today’s new trailer.

The biggest addition to the formula is the inclusion of Gooigi, a green Luigi ghost that will aid the real Luigi during both exploration and combat.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be a complete experience, featuring both a long single-player campaign and some multiplayer modes. The multiplayer is also getting expanded after release with paid DLC. Nothing has been said about the possible release of single-player DLC.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 launches on October 31st worldwide exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
