LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the latest entry in the LEGO Star Wars series in development for Nintendo Switch, PC and other consoles, is not going to be released in Spring 2021 as announced a few months back. Developer TT Games confirmed that they need more time to make the game the biggest and best LEGO game ever.

All of us at TT Games are working hard to make LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga the biggest and best-ever LEGO game – but we’re going to need more time to do it. We won’t be able to make our intended Spring release date, but will provide updated launch timing as soon as possible.”

While delays are always disappointing, a rushed game will stay bad forever, while a delayed game has much better chance to turn out good. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does indeed look like the biggest LEGO game ever made by TT Games, so it is not surprising to learn that the developer needs more time, especially considering the current state of the world.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launches on a yet to be announced release date on Nintendo Switch, PC and other consoles.
