How to Unlock Sayu’s Hangout Event in Genshin Impact

Sayu, one of the most sought-after playable characters in Genshin Impact, is finally getting her first Hangout Event with Genshin Impact 2.2 update.

The Version 2.2 update releasing on October 13, 2021, will add Hangout Event: Series III. It will feature two hangout events, one for Sayu and another for Thoma.

What are Hangout Events

Hangout events are special story quests in Genshin Impact that focus on the relationship of the traveler with other playable characters.

With Sayu’s hangout event coming out with version 2.2 update, players can spend more time with the chibi ninja voiced by LilyPichu.

Sayu’s hangout event will have multiple endings. The player’s decisions during the hangout event will influence the direction of the story. And, each time you reach an ending, you will get rewards like Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Adventurer’s EXP, and character ascension materials.

How to Unlock Sayu’s Hangout Event

To unlock Sayu’s Hangout Event Act I, players must be at Adventure Rank 30 or above and they must have completed the Inazuma archon quest, Chapter II Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals. If players satisfy both of these criteria, they can view Sayu’s hangout event in their Story Quests/Hangout Events section and use two-story keys to get started with the special story quests under hangout events.

How to Get Story Keys

Genshin Impact players can get a story key by completing eight daily commissions. So, at minimum, it requires two days to get a single story key. Once players have completed eight daily commissions. They can go to the Story Quest section and claim their story key.
