Raid, aka Tera Raids, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, is a new content that allows players to battle and catch different Terastallized Pokémon and check their skills as a Pokémon trainer. And thankfully, the game allows you to take on Raids with your friends in Co-Op. But to do that, you must first know how to start a Raid in Co-Op mode in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How To Start a Raid in Co-Op Mode in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To start a Tera Raid in Co-Op mode in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, progress the game until you unlock the Poké Portal and Tera Raid Battle option below the Union Circle. 

Once you have unlocked the Tera Raid Battle menu, follow the below steps to start Raids in Co-Op:

  • Press the X button to open the main menu. 
  • Select the Poké Portal option. 
  • Click on Tera Raid Battle. 
  • You can select a Tera Raid Battle card for matchmaking or use the Random option. 
  • To start Raid in Co-Op, select the Link Code option.
  • Enter the Link Code. 
  • Click on the “All Ready to Go!” option to start the Raid. 

How To Host A Tera Raid Battle In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To host a Tera Raid battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must find the Tera Raid Crystals around the Paldea region and interact with them to open the Raid Menu, where you will get the option to:

  • Challenges as a group
  • Challenge alone 
  • Change Pokémon 

Select Challenge as a group to host the Tera Raid Battle session in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. And share the Link Code with your friends to let them join your group using the above-shared method. 

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are currently available on the Nintendo Switch platform.
