Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 4 challenges have arrived! This week players are tasked with all sorts of fun challenges, including opening a lock with a key and a safe in one match. Open a Lock with a Key, and a Safe in a Single Match of Fortnite
Players can open locks on Vaults and on Holo-Chests. The keys for these features can be found as floor loot or in chests. They give off a faint sound so listen out for them when looting buildings.
To open a Vault you will need at least one Key, but it is maybe best to try and pick up two in case you come across a large Vault first. Some Vaults take two Keys to open – these are usually floating Vaults and contain a lot more loot, Rare chests, and Slurp Barrels. The single-Key Vaults are usually located underground and contain less loot, although are still worth checking out.

To complete this challenge in one match you will need to find a Key, then find a Vault. Inside the Vault will be all the loot you need, plus a Safe. The Safe takes a little while to open so be aware of any approaching enemies while you open it. Inside the Safe will be Gold Bars, which you can spend on upgrading weapons, items and services from NPCs, and more!
Once you have opened both the Vault and the Safe, your challenge is complete. There is another way of completing this challenge, of course. Locks are also found on Holo-Chests, and occasionally Safes are found in Gas Stations, so if you manage to find both in the same place that is an easy way to complete this week 4 quest. Good luck!
