How to Make a Sawmill in Terraria

To create objects from an advanced level tree, the player needs to acquire a sawmill. It is extremely easy to build such a useful crafting place because it requires relatively simple materials but in huge quantities. Actually, when you really need to use the sawmill, you should already have all the necessary materials in your inventory.

But what exactly do you need to do to make a sawmill in Terraria? In today’s article, we will tell you in detail about this process.

Tools Needed To Make A Sawmill

Of course, you cannot build a sawmill with your bare hands. First, you need to acquire several tools: a work table, an anvil, and a furnace. If you already have all the required tools, then skip to the next step in the article.

Craft a Workbench

You shy collect ten firewood. Any trees you come across along the way will work. Next, go to the crafting menu and start crafting a workbench.

Furnace Craft

Collect twenty stone blocks, four wood, and three torches. Next, go to the previously created workbench and start the process of creating a furnace.

Anvil Craft

Collect five iron or lead rods (three ores + furnace). Next, go to the workbench and start creating the anvil.

That’s it, we’ve created the tools we need. Now it’s time to start building the sawmill in Terraria. As with other things, you need to collect certain materials:

  • 2 wood.
  • 10 iron (lead) rods.
  • One chain (rod + anvil).

Once you get all the above materials, go to your workbench and start creating a sawmill, which will allow you to build much larger and more advanced projects. While you are here, read our guide on how to get a chain gun in Terraria.
