How to Knock Down Timber Pines with a Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite

Another week is upon us in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 and with it comes a set of quests to complete. The new weapon, the Ripsaw Launcher, was introduced in June 2022 and is now part of one of the Week 4 Quests. This structure-destroying item launches ripsaw blades through the air where they collide with structure, players, and trees, causing damage. Finding and Using a Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite

The Ripsaw Launcher is best found at The Chop Shop, although they can be found around the map for a while during Ripsaw Week. The Timber Pines are also found easily around Logjam Lotus and The Chop Shop, so it is best to land here to find everything in one place.

Pick up a Ripsaw Launcher from The Chop Shop and head to the huge pine trees around Logjam Lotus. They can be recognised by their pale colouring compared to other trees, and the fact they are so huge. These special trees are the ones that fall and roll away when chopped down.

Simply aim the Ripsaw Launcher at the tree and fire the blade so it spins toward the pine, and rips through it. Five of these Tiber Pines need bringing down with the Ripsaw Launcher.

The Ripsaw Launcher can throw blades amazingly far so don’t be afraid to find trees further away and see what damage you can do. Just hold down the aim button, then hold down the fire button. The Ripsaw Launcher will begin to glow with sparks, then FIRE!

This quest is easily finished in this area as there are so many Timber Pines to launch blades at! Once you have knocked down 5 trees, the quest is complete. Good luck.
