Just like on land where players can run instead of walking, and sprint instead of running, there is also a way to swim faster. This is a useful feature if you are trying to get out of the storm, or escape an enemy!
All you have to do to move a bit faster through the water is to jump while swimming. This can be achieved by using the same button you use for jumping as you are swimming through the water. This action makes you leap gracefully out of the water, and gives you a little boost as you go.
