How To Get Skill Swap (TM098) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can get the Skill Swap TM098 ability in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet out in the overworld, as it is one of the ground items you can interact with and pick up. 

Once you get Skill Swap TM098, you can visit any TM Machine and use the following items to craft other copies of it:

  • 3000 LP (League Points)
  • Girafarig Fur x3
  • Flittle Down x3

That being said, you will find the TM098 Skill Swap on the ground behind the Pokémon Center located at the entrance of Alfornada city of Paldea.  

As said earlier, once you have the TM098 Skill Swap ability, it will automatically get unlocked in the TM Machine as one of the craftable TMs. Collect the required materials and League Points, and then craft as much Skill Swap ability as you want.
