To get the rust-worn key in Genshin Impact, players have to complete the world quest A Strange Story in Konda. Once that is done, players can access the well with the room that has the rust-worn key.

Assuming you have completed the aforementioned world quest. Now let us check out, how you can reach the room with the rust-worn key.
At the deepest part of the Konda village well, where you performed the cleansing ritual during the quest – A Strange Story in Konda. You will find an electro barrier. Use the Electrogranum to get past the barrier.
Now, climb the wall till you reach the top. There you will find the room with the rust-worn key and a luxurious chest locked behind an iron gate.
Use the lever on the left side to open the gate.
On the table, you will find your rust-worn key. And on the left to it, you will find a Luxurious chest.
